Washing Guide FAQ

All Goods must be washed thoroughly prior to wear or use by the Customer, and the Customer must follow the washing guidelines as listed on the garment care label.

Generally, Goods must be washed as follows, unless the washing guidelines on each Good is different, then the washing guidelines on the Good applies to the extent of any inconsistency:

• each colour group of Goods must be washed separately. It is also recommended the Goods be washed separately from other clothes of the Customer;

• any Goods with contrast trims or panels must be washed separately to minimise absorbing dye from other garments/Goods;

• hand-washing of Goods in cold water only is recommended, unless otherwise recommended;

• any viscose and jersey natural material Goods must be carefully washed using a steam iron only, but no direct contact should be made with the Goods and the iron itself as this may damage the Goods; 

• any woollen garments need to be treated delicately. Follow the washing guidelines on the Goods, including either hand wash, or select a gentle setting on your washing machine in cold water. Avoid soaking woollen garments for more than an hour, and always dry them flat to prevent stretching;

• any use of an iron must be on low heat (if permitted for that Good);

• if dry cleaning is appropriate, this will be set out on the washing guidelines on the Goods.

 

Any failure to follow the washing guidelines in these Terms and Conditions, on the label of the Good, or otherwise as directed by Beris from time to time, may damage the Goods or cause other damage or Loss to the Customer. Beris will not be liable for any such damage or Loss, and the Customer agrees to indemnify and keep Beris forever indemnified from any Loss, damage, claim or otherwise that arises from or in connection with such failure.
